Our Story
On 5 acres of lush tropical land, Hacienda Valencia is the perfect location for your authentic Colombia experience between sea, mountain, and national parks. Within walking distance, a beautiful virgin beach, as well as the locally famed “quebrada Valencia” waterfalls, make perfect day excursions. We are only 200 m from a very reliable bus route on “Troncal del Caribe.” The bus service gives you easy access to the Tayronal National Park (15 km), the Ciudad Perdida “The lost city” (1km), and the charming town of Palomino (30 km). We have a variety of animals on our hacienda and from our land enjoy delicious tropical fresh fruit such as mangos, papayas, lemons, plantains, and coconuts. Free range organic chickens provide delicious meals, as well as bountiful eggs from our “happy chickens.” The early risers can enjoy the experience of milking the cows before enjoying a traditional Colombian breakfast. For a traveler looking for a unique experience, with a “family style” communal outdoor kitchen, and ideal access to all the local tourism that this beautiful Colombian coast has to offer, Hacienda Valencia is a must.

Couple's Cabanas (Superior)
The superior couple’s cabins include AC, Internet, Larger TV’s, Mini Fridge, Heated Shower and a Queen Bed, one includes a sofa (folds open) which can accommodate 1 adult or 2 children, and the other has a table perfect for the traveler who still requires a workspace from time to time.
Couples Cabana (Standard)
The Standard couple’s cabin is more rustic, with a twin bed, AC, Internet, smaller tv, regular shower/bathroom

Family Cabana
Our Family Cabin includes a queen bed and a set of bunk beds and a TV in the bedroom, The Living room has a couch (which opens to a bed and can supply extra mattresses if your party contains more people) as well as a central table for meals and chairs for 4-6 people. It also includes a kitchen with a full-size fridge, stove and cooking space with all the necessary flatware and cooking utensils. Of course, it also includes internet and a large bathroom with a heated shower, and 2 AC’s one for the bedroom and one for the main room/kitchen.
Trecker's Cabana
Our Treckers (backpackers) cabin offers a hostel like experience for those looking to share a room, it has 2 bunk beds (4 adults) with the possibility of providing more mattresses if your party is numerous, it has its own bathroom, minifridge and AC.

Family Style Outdoor Kitchen
Here at Hacienda Valencia, we offer cabanas with or without food service. Having in mind those who like to be catered to, Chef Greg and Maye (owners) offer many different culinary possibilities. We have created a DIY (do it yourself) function outdoor kitchen if that is what you prefer, or you can preorder any type and menu that you would desire, whether it be traditional Colombian cuisine (Maye) or French trained (Greg) can prepare delicious meals using local ingredients for your party. From breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner all we need is a little heads up and would be happy to make your experience as perfect as possible. We also have the equipment and facilities to entertain groups for events if so desired please specify your needs and we will be very happy to accommodate your needs.
